Museum Visit

Mark and I celebrated our third anniversary by taking a picnic lunch to the Cleveland Museum of Art and looking at the Icons of American Photography exhibit going on there. That was very inspirational.

Picking one picture to post was tough today. At some point maybe I'll get some of the others I liked up on flickr. This one is different from any of the other pictures I've taken. Let me know what you think.

Mindy, you have several textures:the smooth stone of the building, the grass, the water reflecting the scenes above. You have people to give perspective to the height of the building. Mom

I like the people at the bottom. Their spacing is interesting-- esp. with the guy (?) who appears to be standing in the water-- or almost, anyway.

The picture isn't as compelling to me as many of your others are. I think I prefer your closer studies of things. Still, the textures are interesting, as "Mom" notes....

I like the play on "line" in this photo. Vertical verses horizontal. It is playful but sophisticated. Closer cropping might define it even more.
