Six Years Later
Over the last few weeks I've been thinking of taking up another 365 photo project. This morning I got out my camera and started taking some pictures. I decided I'm going to post them to the same blog that I started, interestingly enough, exactly 6 years ago today, on March 29, 2007.
Life is very different now--2 kids, a renovated kitchen (I'm reminded of this because my first picture was of dishes drying in our old sink), new jobs, and now I'm closer to 40 than 30. It will be interesting to see how my photography has changed. I haven't spent much time honing my skills in recent years, but I hope this will motivate me.
Because of my current life circumstances I'm going to try to make the rules a little simpler. I will take pictures every day, but I might not post every day. I'll get caught up posting when I can. I also might not take the time to pick just one picture. If I like a few on a certain day, I'll post a few. And I'll make an effort to not post pictures of my kids every day, although I'm sure they will be prominent subjects.
I'm excited--I hope I can keep it up again.
